He stared at the notification for a long time, then had someone look into Noah.
The results came back quickly.
“Mr. Langford, Noah Whitmore is currently married. His wife is Ivy Bradford, the only daughter of Charles Bradford, who runs Bradford Group. She is not Miss Lane.”
Ethan shot to his feet. “So she really was just trying to get under my skin!”
He knew it.
She was only capable of so much. No matter how much she acted out, she could never escape his grasp.
He immediately had someone find Ivy Bradford’s contact information.
The private phone number of Bradford Group’s heiress wasn’t easy to get, but Ethan had been moving in business circles for years. He had his ways.
By that afternoon, a new number had appeared in his phone.
He dialed it.
It rang three times before the call connected.
“Hello, am I speaking with Mrs. Whitmore?” Ethan tried to sound as polite and composed as possible. “This is Ethan. I’d like to speak with you about your husband, Mr. Whitmore, and my fiancée, Ivy Lane.”
