The Hollow Luna Who Got Betrayed Chapter 01
After I refused to give my womb to my sister Julia, my mother turned against me. She schemed to offer me to
Lucas Bennett, Alpha of the Northern Pack.
Lucas seemed indifferent to Omegas, yet he cherished me fiercely-making me the most honored Luna.
For three years, he was deeply devoted, always wanting me close.
But I never conceived.
Rumors spread that I was barren.
Then, at the pack hospital, I overheard Lucas admit he had secretly transplanted my womb into Julia three years ago, and planned to lie that I was born infertile.
The love I believed in was a lie. So I decided to leave.
At the end of the pack hospital corridor, the healer who had just declared that I could never get pregnant
looked conflicted.
“Poor thing. She still thinks she’s pregnant, but it’s only an adverse reaction to the medication I gave her to regulate her scent. That’s why she keeps vomiting.”
Lucas frowned slightly and gave the healer an order.
“Then switch her to something with the fewest side effects. I don’t want anything happening to her body. Julia may still need her in the future.”
“Aren’t you afraid she’ll hate you if she learns the truth one day? She has always wanted to give you a pup, but she doesn’t even know she’ll never be a mother. Her wolf is already crying. Can’t you feel that?”
There was already pity in the healer’s voice.
“If she hates me, then so be it. I just can’t stand seeing Julia suffer.”
Lucas’s tone grew irritable, and his Alpha pressure spread through the corridor, forcing the Omega nurses nearby to lower their heads.
“As for Claire, she already has the title of Luna. Isn’t that enough? The entire Northern Pack knows she is my Luna. Do you know how many people would kill for that position?”
I stood frozen around the corner, trembling uncontrollably. My Omega wolf curled into itselt inside me and let out a low whimper.
The position of Luna? So that was how he saw it.
Everything I had now was not because of love. It had been bought with my womb.
All the strength left my body, and I crashed to the floor.

I fell hard and lay there in a hiuniliating heap, pain tearing through every part of me. I did not even have the strength to get up. My wolf struggled weakly inside me, but it did not even have the strength to shift. My body had been drained too badly over the years.
When Lucas caught sight of me, he strode over and helped me up. His deep black eyes fixed on my face. “How did you fall? When did you get here?”
My hand, hidden inside my sleeve, clenched so hard my nails bit into my palm. I knew confronting him now would only hurt me, so I forced my scent to stay steady and pressed myself obediently into his arms like I always did.
“I just got here. My heels were too high, and I twisted my ankle.”
Only then did the tension in his face ease, and his Alpha pressure withdrew with it. He lifted me into his arms and carried me out, his voice low as he said, “Don’t wear heels that high again.”
I looked at the face I had once been obsessed with, and a deep chill spread through my heart.
When had he told the healer to remove my womb?
Was it two years ago, during that surgery?
Back then, I had only felt slightly unwell, but the healer diagnosed me with wolfbane poisoning and said I needed immediate surgery.
Lucas had been so anxious that he reserved an entire floor of the pack hospital and brought in a top medical team to operate on me. At the time, his scent had been as panicked as any devoted mate’s would be, and I thought he loved me deeply.
Now I understood. I had only ever been the lamb he kept for slaughter. He took such careful care of me only so he could carve flesh from my body and offer it to Julia, the Omega he had truly marked.
