She Stole My Pain, So I Took Her to Antarctica Chapter 07

Vivian convinced herself that what had just happened must have been an accident.

It had to be.

She crawled toward Logan with difficulty and tried to take his hand.

Logan loved her most. He had to.

But Logan shoved her back to the floor.

“Are you done?” he snapped. “Now you know you can’t handle the cold? What were you doing before?”

“If you can’t take it, just cancel that so-called sensation swap of yours.”

In Logan’s eyes, Vivian, who had always played the gentle, pitiful girl, had become disgusting.

Vivian froze.

Then she shook her head over and over.

“No. I can’t. No…”

Logan frowned. He thought she was just being difficult.

I looked at the two absurd people and explained for her with a sneer.

“Of course she can’t. The sensation swap only ends when one of the bound people dies.”

So when Vivian chose to bind me, she had already planned to kill me.

From the very beginning, I had been her tool for gaining traffic.

She could become a famous influencer and get rid of the woman she had always hated at the same time.

Two problems solved with one cruel trick.

“Vivian, is that true?”

Logan’s face darkened, and he clenched his jaw.

He knew Vivian was not as innocent and kind as she appeared. But he had not expected her to be this vicious.

All because of jealousy, she had wanted someone dead.

What if one day he became the person she hated?

Would she want him dead too?

At that thought, unease tightened Logan’s face.

Vivian panicked completely. She never imagined I would know the system’s secret.

As for how I knew, I had heard it in my last life after death, when my soul drifted above my body.

Back then, hatred had swallowed me whole.

All I wanted was to make her pay.

Remembering the humiliation of my last life, I began taking off my warm layers again.

With every layer I removed, Vivian curled up harder.

Blue-purple patches darkened across her skin.

In the end, her hands and feet could no longer move. Only the faint white breath leaving her mouth proved she was still alive.

“Save… save me…”

Vivian used the last of her strength, but her voice was so faint it was almost nothing but breath.

I felt no regret.

Only the sharp satisfaction of revenge.

My hand reached for the zipper of the last layer.

Just a little more.

One more layer, and I would avenge the death she had caused in my last life.

Then a mechanical voice sounded in my mind.

My eyes widened.

A moment later, I laughed.

A better revenge had just fallen into my hands.

“I’ll let you go this time.”

After saying that, I put my clothes back on, layer by layer.

Vivian had already passed out from the cold.

Beside her, Logan’s eyes shifted. He immediately put on a pitiful expression and spoke to me.

“Babe, I was wrong. Vivian lied to me. That’s why I hurt you. I’ll never hurt you again.”

“Can you forgive me?”

I fought back nausea and stared at him.

“Logan,” I said, my voice low, “I have a surprise for you.”

His eyes lit up at once.

He thought this meant I had forgiven him.

Inside, I laughed coldly.
