I Saw The Comments Calling Me Evil And Realized I Was Pregnant Chapter 01
My boyfriend had just gotten home from a long shift at a construction site, and I immediately forced him to go buy me a durian in the pouring rain.
“We don’t have enough money, and rent is due tomorrow. Would strawberries be okay?” he said, his voice
tired.
I grabbed a throw pillow and hurled it at him, “Get out! You loser!”
After kicking him out, I curled up on the sofa and sulked.
Then suddenly, comments floated across my vision:
[The villainess is screaming at a billionaire heir! He only ended up working at a construction site because someone sabotaged him and caused his amnesia!]
[The FL is going to find him soon, and the ML is about to get his memory back! When that happens, he’ll
realize this villainess is a fraud!]
[This drama queen is already pregnant. She’ll use the baby to throw tantrums, but right after giving birth, she gets taken out, and her kid gets abused!]
I touched my belly, completely frozen in shock.
Just then, the door was pushed open.
Nash Rothschild walked in soaked to the bone, holding a durian in his hand.
He looked at me nervously, speaking with extreme caution, “I did food delivery for two hours to get you this durian. Please don’t kick me out, okay?”

Nash stood at the doorway, rainwater dripping down his pants, his eyes looking like an abandoned puppy.
Those words from the comments were still floating in front of me.
“Villainess, “billionaire,” “fraud,” “pregnant,” “taken out,” “kid gets abused.”
My legs felt a little weak.
Normally, I would have snatched the durian away, called him a useless piece of trash, eaten the whole thing myself, and told him to go sleep on the couch.
But today, I didn’t dare.
I took a deep breath, my voice sounding a bit dry, “You… go change out of those wet clothes first.”
Nash clearly froze for a second, probably expecting me to keep yelling at him.
He awkwardly held the durian out toward me, “I didn’t mean to ignore you earlier. I just wanted to run a couple more deliveries, earn enough money to buy you a durian…”
Looking at his hands, which were pale and pruned from the rain, my heart gave a thump.
Over the past year, I had constantly beaten and scolded him, and he had never once talked back.
“I said go change your clothes first!” I turned my face away, my voice tight.
Nash lowered his eyes, “Okay, I’m going right now.”
He set the durian down and scrambled to find some dry clothes.
While he was in the bathroom, I stared at the durian on the table, tears almost falling from my eyes.
The comments said I was pregnant, that I would push my luck, and in the end, the FL would have me killed and my child abused.
If I wasn’t pregnant, that would be fine, but if I really was…
[So the villainess finally knows fear? Too late!]
[To be honest, it’s useless even if she starts acting nice now. The FL is already on her way.]
[I feel so bad for the ML, getting bullied for so long.]
I grit my teeth and forced the tears back.
Nash came out in dry clothes, and seeing me stare at the durian, he asked carefully, “Should I peel it for you?”
I grabbed the durian, “Come on. We’re returning it.”
“What?” He was bewildered.
“It’s too expensive. Over two hundred bucks is enough for a whole exhausting day of work for you at the construction site. Return it.”
I dragged him toward the door.
Nash let me pull him along, his face filled with utter disbelief, “Don’t… don’t you want to eat durian the most?”
“Now I don’t want it anymore.”
I didn’t dare look at him.
After returning the durian, I stuffed the two hundred and thirty dollars into his pocket, “For rent.”
Nash stood in place. The rain had slowed down, and he just stared at me with a look in his eyes that I couldn’t quite decipher.
It looked like a mix of pleasant surprise and heartache.
“Khloe, you… are you on your period?” he asked tentatively.
“Period my…”
..” I almost snapped at him, forcing myself to hold it back, “Let’s go home.”
The rental apartment only had one bed.
That night, I shrank into the innermost corner, my back turned toward him.
Nash lay down after his shower. After a long silence, his voice came very low, “I’m really tired today… Can we not play any games?”
My whole body stiffened.
“Play games” was his polite way of putting it.
Usually, when I was in a good mood, I would mess with him in bed, and he would never refuse, even if he had been working all day and was so exhausted that he could barely straighten his back.
But now the comments said I was pregnant.
I subconsciously covered my lower abdomen, my mind a complete mess.
“Yeah… let’s just sleep.” My voice sounded muffled.
The space behind me stayed quiet for a few seconds, then Nash gave a soft, “Oh,” his tone carrying a hint of disappointment and confusion.
[Why is the ML looking disappointed? What’s there to expect from the villainess? No way I’m okay with this as someone rooting for the main characters!]
[The ML is only this nice to her because the villainess lied to him. Once he gets his memory back, he’ll know she played him.]
[Lilith Sterling, hurry up and get here!]
I buried my face deep into the pillow.
