I Saw The Comments Calling Me Ugly And Jumped Him In The Shower Chapter 01
The fifteenth time my attempt at intimacy was rejected, I finally believed my husband hated me.
I slunk back to the bedroom, planning to look into getting a divorce, when strange comments suddenly flashed before my eyes.
[Finally, the ML’s ugly wife is going to file for divorce, and the pure ML and FL are about to meet.]
[It was thrilling to watch the arrogant CEO lose his mind repeatedly for the sweet, pitiful FL and spend countless heated nights together later.]
[But I feel bad for his wife, honestly. She secretly liked the ML for so long, and in the end, got nothing and walked away with nothing.]
[So what! Everything the ML has belongs to the FL. Delilah? She’s just doomed. She’s nothing but a loser.]
I stared at the flood of comments, and anger boiled up.
Why? Why should the next one get everything while I’m left with nothing—no money, no love?
Fueled by fury, I burst straight into the master bathroom and lunged at Cassius Quinn, who was showering, planting messy kisses all over his body.
A pure untouched ML, right? I’d claim him first.
I wasn’t letting the next one have it.

I slammed the door open, and Cassius stood with his back toward me mid-shower.
After being married to him for so long, it was the first time I saw him completely naked.
Hearing the noise, he turned. Our eyes met, and for once, he looked genuinely shocked.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
I stepped inside. “Doing something important.”
I looped my arms around his neck and stood on tiptoe to kiss him.
Three years of secretly loving Cassius, one year of being his wife, and this was the first time I tasted the thin, cold lips of this high-and-mighty man.
It was maddeningly intoxicating.
I deepened the kiss, biting him gently, and Cassius let out a muffled groan.
Finally snapping back, he shoved me away forcefully. “Delilah, are you insane? How dare you do this to me? Don’t forget, we agreed from the start that our marriage was just a business arrangement.”
Yes, he’d been pressured by his family to marry, and I’d happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fate had pulled me in as a shield.
But those comments stabbed at my heart, and I couldn’t swallow the humiliation.
Why was everything set up this way? According to the comments, that so-called FL, besides being slightly prettier, had no advantages.
Why could she have Cassius, while I ended up with nothing, thrown out of the game? I refused!
I tore off my clothes in quick, rough motions and acted boldly toward Cassius for the first time.
“We’re already married, and I’m not leaving without getting what’s mine.”
Perhaps surprised by my sudden boldness, Cassius froze.
He forgot he wasn’t wearing clothes and reached out to touch my forehead. “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”
That same gentle concern. Always the same.
He clearly didn’t like me. He was always cold toward me.
Yet the moment I showed any discomfort, he’d care like this.
The ache in my chest became unbearable. I threw myself into his arms. “Cassius, please kiss me. Kiss me, and I won’t feel so bad.”
The man holding me stiffened, and I sensed a change in him.
Just when I thought he might actually respond, he sighed long and low. His voice turned cold again. “Delilah, get out. Our contractual partnership stays unchanged.”
“And I don’t like you. Nothing will happen between us. Give up and stay as nothing more than Mrs. Quinn in name only.
Maybe he realized he sounded harsh. His tone softened slightly. “Tomorrow, I’ll have my secretary transfer a million dollars to you as compensation.”
